Shanise and Obioma briefly met in 2017 at their alta mater, The College of New Jersey at a campus carnival called, "Funival". Later that year, they met officially at the college's library while studying with mutual friends. Obi was drawn to Shanise's witty personality and drive. Shanise was drawn to Obi's intellect and unique hobbies and interest. They started dating in March 2018 and became #SOinlove since then!
